Salesforce Admin practice exam: free vs paid options

Short answer: if you only want a quick readiness check, take a free full-length exam first. If you want to review the material over several weeks, a spaced-repetition tool schedules that for you: questions you miss come back sooner and questions you know come back later. The exam itself, from Salesforce

Per the official exam guide: 60 multiple-choice questions plus up to 5 unscored, 105 minutes, a passing score of 68% for the English exam, a US$200 registration fee and a US$100 retake fee. Salesforce Ben: a free practice exam

Salesforce Ben offers a free 60-question Admin practice exam with explanations and links to learning resources, written by a named Salesforce MVP. It wins on price (free) and on credibility: a known person in the community put their name on it. One difference to know about: that page lists a 65% pass mark, while the official guide says 68%. We use 68%. Also note that the Salesforce Ben exam asks for your name and email before you start.
