CertRecall

How spaced repetition works for certification exam prep

Short answer: spaced repetition is reviewing material at growing intervals. Each time you answer a question correctly, you see it again after a longer gap; each time you miss it, it comes back sooner.

How it works in CertRecall

  1. Take a quick diagnostic. A short first round shows what you already know.
  2. Practice what you are weakest on. Questions you miss come back sooner.
  3. Come back when it is due. Questions you know come back later, so you spend time on what you do not know yet.

Each question moves through states: not seen yet, learning, and mastered. A question counts as mastered once its next review is 21 or more days away. The app shows how many are due now, learning and mastered.

Spaced repetition is a study method where you review an item again after a gap, and the gap grows each time you recall it correctly. Items you get wrong come back sooner.

Is spaced repetition a guarantee of passing?

No. It is a way to spend practice time on what you do not know yet. CertRecall does not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
